Discoveries

We have made numerous original discoveries, over the years, at the Balancing Center. This new section of our website will reveal some of the unique connections between allergy and amino acid utilization disorders that we have observed, and the fascinating word-associations that can produce an allergy, as well as some of the strange reasons why a person might reject one or two specific vitamins or minerals, yet receive and utilize all the others.

Nothing in the following list of observations offers solutions for any health effects that we will be discussing. This is simply an arena for exploring what's happening. We are suggesting these ideas so that the reader may understand some of the processes that we have observed. Every health practitioner reading this is welcome to extrapolate the information into whatever form of body-work or vibrational healing work they choose to adapt to their practice.

1. Unique biochemical misinformation:

The following conditions that we have observed, at the Balancing Center, have been associated with specific biochemical errors that clients have made, by a subconscious decision, under duress. These negative associations may be causative, or at least a contributing factor to a health problem, and we believe that they suggest an additional tool for arriving at the resolution of a problem your client may be presenting. Once you can clear the emotional basis for these errors, it may give your client a better chance to avoid a health effect that might be showing up vibrationally, but had not yet surfaced physically, or it might be able to diminish a difficulty that is already in process. We are assuming that the severity of the condition varies in proportion to the percentage of molecular errors that are occurring.

Autism: We have found that this may correlate with a substitution of an aldehyde for the methyl, on the acetyl radicals. This error, in any substantial percentage, would create havoc in the action of acetylcholine in the brain, as well as all over the body, and may account for the spectrum of diverse areas of dysfunction.

The indications are that the aldehyde substitution can be caused by signal-confusion initiated by methyl mercury and/or immune system signal-confusion from the injection of simultaneous multiple vaccines. There may also be other reasons for this, such as other sources of heavy toxic exposure.

Breast cancer: We have observed consistently that a methyl at #2 on the estrogens is associated with estrogen-dependent breast cancers. This error is initated in early adolescence as a way to differentiate from Mom as a role model, but it doesn't surface as an overt illness until many years later, and it might never. This error is not a marker, it is only a potential. It is unlikely to show up as cancer unless there is also another stressor introduced, such as a significant toxic exposure, or profound emotional despair.

Cholesterol too high: Very high cholesterol readings are usually due to a large percentage of inaccurate cholesterol molecules. The molecules that are inaccurate can't be used, so more will be synthesized until there are sufficient useful ones. Then the total of both accurate and inaccurate cholesterol molecules is measured, and the readings will obviously appear to be too high, but the workable amount is probably exactly right.

If the total number is reduced artifically, or prevented from being synthesized, then not only the inaccurate cholesterol molecules will be reduced, but the useable ones also will. The body will be forced to deal with cholesterol that is much too low, while the official readings would read as "normal." (This introduces health hazards that are not usually thought to be due to low cholesterol, i.e. mental confusion and hormone shortages.) Another approach is to find out why the inaccurate ones are being made, and resolve the emotional decision that occurred at the moment when that started. Then the level of cholesterol can be regulated appropriately by the action of the B-vitamins and fatty acids.

Colon cancer: We found that two hydroxyls were substituting for the two methyls that should have been at positions #18 and #19, on the pregnenolone. (Observed only once. We need to review many more medically diagnosed cases of colon cancer to establish any verification for this, but it may be an important connection to watch for.)

Endometriosis: When a methyl at position #11 appears on the estrogens, and is also associated with trauma, we often find it associated with edometriosis.

OCD: We don't have much of a track record on this one, but we have noticed that OCD accompanies an error in the Isoleucine cascade, at the point where NAD is needed. Either NAD could not be synthesized sufficiently, or could not enter the pathway at this specific place. The sequence is caught at α-keto-β-methylvaleric acid when NAD isn't available, and subsequently creates a shortage of α-methyl-butyryl-CoA.

What that does to initiate OCD is unclear, but it could be blocking a neurological circuit that then creates inaccurate synapsing.

Psoriasis: This has consistently shown to accompany a methyl at #8 on the cholesterol. Along with this, the second factor we have noticed is that some of the vitamin D molecules are lacking a hydroxyl at position #25. The third factor is a sun sensitivity, where "sun" is really about the "son" in some awkward emotional context.

Given the combination of all three of these conditions together, our belief is that a toxic compound is then synthesized within the body, the kidneys can't release it, and it comes up through the skin.

2. Allergy Puns

We have come across some unexpected word-associations that have produced allergies. These are all symbolic of disconnection, and the target of disconnection is translated in the limbic thesaurus as associated with a similar sounding word in a different context, and will show up as a food allergy, or an animal allergy that has no connection to the food or the animal, except by the sound of the word.

B-1, thiamin: I don't like being single. (I like B-2 better.).....I don't want to be one of those people......I didn't like being one year old---being one month old, etc.

B-2, riboflavin: I don't like being in a couple's relationship, I'd rather B-1.

B-3, niacin: I don't want to be three years old, it was too scary......I was involved in a love-triangle, and it hurt......I didn't want Mom to bring home that third baby.....Three's a crowd.....I don't like the Christian Trinity concept.

B-12, cyanocobolamine: Twelve people are on the jury, I'm afraid of being judged. .....The twelve step program is a drag......The twelve disciples are scary......Cheaper by the dozen is not true, it's just a trick.

Cats: Terror of being sent, as a small child, to the Cats-kill mountains.....Very sad to see big animals in a truck, Dad said they are Cattle, and are going to be killed and eaten......Catty girls ruined my reputation.....I'm afraid of Cool cats.

Cheese: Mom followed us all around with a camera and kept making us say "cheese."

Corn: The Grandmother that I didn't like was named Mrs. Cobb.....Dad was a Colonel in the Army......My dad drove the Frito-Lay truck.....My Mom told a lot of corny jokes, trying to be funny, and she embarassed me......My brother used to corner me, and I couldn't get away.

Dogs: Dog allergies can be about an emotional charge around Top Dog/Under Dog. or being in the dog-house.

Gluten: Before I was born, I felt compelled to split out and let go of my incarnation, so I went against the grain. Later I found out that I was really in the world after all, but I still couldn't digest gluten.

Lysine: Lysine utilization needs vitamin K and vitamin B-2, but even when these are abundant some people refuse to absorb or utilize it, because it reminds them of a confusing time when people were lying to them. Lysine brings up the "lie scene," until that negative association can be changed.

Meat: I'm always afraid to meet new people.....I could never meet the expectations of my perfectionist parents.....If I can't meet the mortgage I will lose my house.

Minerals: We have often observed that people who are low in minerals sometimes are literally refusing to allow them to be absorbed. Often this is a decision based on a subconscious belief that Men Are All---(whatever the negative generalization is)---and therefore I'm not letting them in. Most of these mineral rejections are made by women who have had difficult experiences with men.

But one man, who had been in the Air Force, made the decision to block his trace minerals when he recognized, with fear and despair, that in war Men Are All expendable.

Oats: Sowing wild oats.

Rice: Rice is often interpreted as Rights. Human rights, Civil rights, Rites of Spring. Last Rites.

Salt: I have felt assaulted most of my life.

Soy: I would never dare say "YO SOY!" I was never allowed to speak up for myself.

Steak: I invested, with high stakes at risk, and I lost......I had a stake in the outcome of that action, and was overruled.

Sugar: I saw through all the sweet-talk, it was fake. Sugar can be an allergy when there is mistrust in sweetness, and in that case the enzyme sucrase, that is supposed to divide sucrose, is not being synthesized.

Taurine: When someone is torn between two alternatives, or two loyalties, taurine can't be utilized or synthesized. Otherwise, all it takes is vanadium and cysteine.

Tyrosine: Converted folic and phosphorylated B-6 are the vitamins that are needed in order to hydroxylate phenylalanine and create tyrosine. It can go on from there to synthesize dopamine, and given a little iodine, it will synthesize thyroxine. Even when these vitamins are available we have found that some people refuse to sythesize tyrosine because it brings up old fears of a "tyrant scene." Once that is handled, the tyrosine can be fully available.

Wheat: Dough is money.....Dad is the bread-winner.

3. Amino Acid Utilization Disorders Associated with Specific Allergies as well as a few other amio acid actions

Alanine (potato) is part of the Tryptophan cascade, a metabolite that occurs when niacin interacts with tryptophan in order to create NAD. If this part of the cascade is deflected, then Alanine will not be available to take part in the dehydration synthesis of glucose, to make glycogen in the liver. This phase of the tryptophan pathway isn't about a milk allergy, it appears with potato allergy. It could also be about blocking the uptake of niacin. And it is possible that the biochemical deflection caused by a potato allergy could create this impact on the niacin.

Cysteine (wheat and soy) takes part in the forming of double sulfide bridges needed to link two polypeptides together. Two Cysteine molecules, occurring on each of two parallel chains, join across the chains to make Cystine. This stabilizes the molecule, and it happens in the presence of rubidium. Cysteine is a metabolite of cystathinonine, which is derived from homocysteine.

In an allergic process, methionine diminishes the amount of homocysteine that can be made, but once the methionine cascade is corrected, homocysteine will be present. Then, in order to proceed to cysthathionine, the enzyme needed requires the amino acid serine. In a soy allergy, serine can't be synthesized. (This shortage, as you can see, is what really allows homocysteine to become excessive.) The result is that cysteine synthesis is at risk in the presence of both a wheat allergy and a soy allergy. Both cystine and cysteine are required for the growth of healthy hair, so hair can become flimsy and dry, and fall out, or grow too slowly, in the presence of these allergies.

Glycine (soy) is produced from Threonine by the enzyme Threonine aldolase. When soy is an allergy, held in a state of emotional disconnection, it diminishes the synthesis of this enzyme. Glycine is needed as a neuroinhibitor in the spinal column, to modulate the transmission of acetylcholine and prevent muscle spasms. It also is needed in the brain to guide and regulate synaptic action. There are alternative pathways that produce glycine, so a severe shortage is unlikely.

Glutamine, Glutamate (oats) interact in the process of transaminating the amino acids, as part of the processing of protein constituents, and initiating the urea cycle.

Glutamate is a very active neurotransmitter in the brain, and in excess it contributes to hyperactive behavior. It is the source from which GABA is derived, with the help of the trace mineral Germanium, and GABA then not only regulates the possible excesses of Glutamate, it also serves as a neuroinhibitor by modulating the excessive release of acetylcholine in the brain.

Histidine (pollens, animals) is what creates Histamine, released from the Mast Cells upon stimulus by IgE, in response to helpless grief, or fear, or anger associated with pollens or animals. Usually allergy to grasses or tree pollens is initated by a frightening experience that occurred outdoors. Allergy to flowers can be about a funeral, or a wedding. Animal allergy, even though it is also histamine-mediated, can be due to a negative experience with an animal, or due to a word association that has been translated in the limbic brain as a negative emotional disconnection from an animal.

Isoleucine and Valine (rice) together become disrupted when there is a rice allergy. Cold hands and feet are due to the Isoleucine part of it, as this constricts the peripheral circulation when the cascade is caught at α-methylbutyryl-CoA and can't go down to Tiglyl-CoA. We also found that a shortage of Tiglyl-CoA can diminish the synthesis of albumin.

Leucine (plastics) is associated with a plastic or petroleum allergy. As an allergy, it makes an opiate called Leu-Enkephalin, and this settles in the mid-brain, causing the pupils of the eyes to become noticably enlarged. Our client with a plastic allergy had rejected her parents that she perceived as "Plastic"and superficial, since she was a nature-loving natural foods person.

Methionine (wheat and/or meat) The classic methionine utilization disorder that is described by Dr William Philpott, in his book Brain Allergies, breaks at the first move in the cascade, between methionine and S-adenosyl methionine. When the break occurs there, as it does with a wheat or a meat allergy, instead of going forward to the adenosyl form it is deflected, and creates an addictive opiate compound called met-enkephalin.

Because it is an addictive compound, met-enkephalin creates an intense craving for wheat products, lowers the blood sugar and sets up a sugar craving. The reason for this is that it is drawn into the opiate receptors in the beta cells of the pancreas, disrupting the signals that govern the release of insulin, and causing a flood of excessive insulin. This produces hypoglycemia at first, and often turns into diabetes in later life. Resolving the basis for the wheat or meat allergy allows the cascade to correct itself.

Serine (soy) Serine is the next amino acid down from glycine, the first metabolite of threonine. Soy allergy deflects the enzyme threonine aldolase, that otherwise would have allowed glycine to be formed, and following that, serine.

When there is no wheat or meat allergy, the methionine cascade is perfect. The perfect methionine pathway proceeds as far as homocysteine, but cannot go futher until it receives serine, needed to construct the enzyme that will take homocysteine over to cystathionine. When serine joins with pyridoxal-5-phosphate, (the phosphorylated form of B6,) then the entire cascade can be completed, all the way down to cysteine, cystine and taurine.

Threonine (soy) We have discussed this in some of the entries above. Soy allergy prevents the synthesis of the enzyme Threonine aldolase, and reduces the amount of available glycine and serine.

Tryptophan (dairy) Milk allergy prevents the tryptophan pathway from going from 5-hydroxytryptophan to serotonin. To trace this cascade, first we need to back track.

5-HTP is the first move in the cascade, and it is rubidium-dependent, so if the cascade is broken there, the rest can't happen. When 5-HTP is present, however, the next thing is to find a decarboxylating enzyme to remove the carboxyl, COOH, from 5HTP. This will generate the monoamine, serotonin, the neurotransmitter that makes people feel upbeat and energetic. The name of this wonderful enzyme is 5-hydroxytryptophan decarboxylase.

Sunshine is essential for this process too. In the winter, people who experience seasonal depression can install a few UV lamps around the house, and this will help very much. Check the Internet for a source of Ott lamps.

A compound made in the wake of a milk allergy prevents the construction of this important enzyme. Usually it revolves around a disconnection from what had been expected, or hoped for, regarding nurturing and loving acceptance. Often, (although not always,) Mom is the target. When it is happening with little kids, the Mom can choose to become more conscious of her impact, and learn to interact in a different way.

If adult kids are still holding old wounds about Mom from years ago, and if conflict resolution is an agreed-upon option, these can often be changed by a combination of counseling and meridian releases. Updating old stuff is a beautiful and very effective form of healing for families.

Valine (rice) When valine is not going down its preferred pathway, it affects the skin. We have mentioned Isoleucine as an important part of the disconnection from rice, and Valine is included in the biochemical errors that come down with a rice allergy, but the symptoms of a Valine utilization disorder are quite different from the effects that are generated by an Isoleucine utilization disorder. We might observe rashes, itching, crusty areas, areas of inflammation, and crawling sensations have been reported, as though something underneath the skin were creeping around.

These effects are usually not usually obvious in a rice allergy, but are likely to show up in the face of a shortage of the proper conversion of niacin or riboflavin to NAD or FAD. Either one would interrupt the pathway before it could reach full resolution. If the kidneys are less than optimal, this action is likely to set up imbalances of a few Valine metabolites, and create self-generated toxins that could come out through the skin.
